Public Lectures On Space In Tallinn

On May 7 Tallinn University of Technology (TTÜ) organises a public lecture on space as a part of Satellite hackathon. The program included lectures by 2 guest speakers Martin Neerot from ICEYE and Ene Ergma from the University of Tartu.

Satellite hackathon was put together by TTÜ Mektory Nanosatellite program brought by Mektory Space Centre. The goal of the program is design, build and launch a reliable and powerful Nanosatellite to the orbit. In order to achieve that the program will provide TTÜ students with theoretical and practical experience to prepare them for working as highly rated technology and space industry experts. TTÜ Mektory team of 15 academic supervisors from seven institutes and around 50 students from about ten different countries is already working on cubesat called TTÜ100.
